Closing – FID #5

Good morning,

The West Branch Area School District will be closed today, Monday, March 17, 2025.  We will be utilizing FID #5.  Unfortunately, the road in front of the school remains closed.  Penelec cannot provide an exact timeframe for arriving on site.  However, they did say that once they arrive, power would be affected for at least 3-4 hours.  With the uncertainty of knowing when the road will open, and the possibility of being without power for many hours, we will be closing for the day.
