Notice Approval & Award of Guaranteed Energy Services Agreement by West Branch Area School District
Notice is hereby given pursuant to provisions of the Pennsylvania Public School Code of 1949 as amended, Pennsylvania Sunshine Act of 1986, July 3, P.L. 388 No. 84, as amended and Guaranteed Energy Savings Projects, Act 57 of 1998, Act 77 of 2004, Act 39 and Act 163 of 2016 in Title 62, Chapter 37, Subchapter E, that the Board of School Directors of West Branch Area School District will, at a Voting Meeting of the Board of School Directors to be held on July 8, 2024 at 6:30 p.m. in the High School Library at 444 Allport Cutoff, Morrisdale, PA 16858 to take action to approve and accept Amendment 1 to the Initial Guaranteed Energy Savings Agreement from Quandel Energy Solutions (“ESCO”). Scopes of work in this portion of the Guaranteed Energy Savings Project consist of modifying the new above-ground propane storage area to a new underground propane storage area. The proposal and amendment to be accepted by the Board and the amendment to the agreement between the ESCO and the Board provides that the lump sum cost of the work shall not exceed $1,420,000. Members of the public are invited to attend the Board Voting Meeting as permitted by law.
