Notification Letter 6/3/2020

The District is aware of a recent student post that does not align to the principles and ideals of our educational organization. While the video was not created on or with school property, it nonetheless indirectly places the District in the midst of our current national situation. The District condemns the content of the video in the strongest of terms. The content in the video is harmful, racist, profoundly inappropriate, and antithetical to the mission and goal of the District to provide a safe and healthy educational environment free of any type of invidious discrimination or hateful invective. The District will continue to educate our students on issues of racism and appropriate activism in an effort to eliminate all forms of discrimination. The continued publication of the video by visitors to the page is likewise highly inappropriate and any posting of the video will be deemed an unauthorized misuse of our page. The District is taking the appropriate action to stop the further propagation of such harmful content.
