Rube Goldberg Assignment
The goal of this assignment is to design and build a machine that dispenses an appropriate amount of hand sanitizer.
Stipulations
- Minimum of 15 steps
- Provide a list of steps on presentation day
- Repeated steps only count once
- No flames larger than a candle’s
- You
must supply most of the materials- ...let me know if there are specific items that you can't acquire.
- Due date is December 4, 2009
- DON’T WAIT UNTIL THE LAST MINUTE!!
- Make it interesting and have fun
Grading scale
100%--It works perfectly
90%--- One problem
80%-- Two problems
70%-- Three problems
60%-- More than 3 problems...try again, you don’t want a 60%!*
*5% is lost for a "Try again"
