In 7th grade, General Music is designed to give you an overview of early music through modern musicals. This is not in in-depth study, but rather a "snapshot" of different periods of music, highlighting major works, composers, and also how they relate to history.
8th Grade General Music

What is this course all about? (Course Description)
In 8th grade, General Music is designed to take a more in-depth look at the material studied in 7th Grade General Music. 8th Grade General Music will take the snapshot you received in 7th grade and add to the information you already have. We will highlight more major composers, their works, and study music from many different time periods.
