Text Box: Teacher’s Corner   December was an extremely fun month.  We turned many Christmas favorites into fun learning activities.  We spent three weeks focusing on these favorites, a week on reindeer, The Polar Express, and gingerbread men.  We celebrated our hard work this month with Polar Express day on December 15, 2006.  All those aboard The First Grade Polar Express had the opportunity to wear pajamas to school, taste different kinds of hot cocoa, and have a snack.  It was a terrific day!
