I would like to welcome you to our school’s web site. This is an exciting time for West Branch Elementary School. We are working on creating a web site specifically related to the elementary school. We hope to have this ready for the 2009-2010 school year. This web site will give you calendar and other information about events occurring in our school.

Since I became the elementary principal in October, I have had the opportunity to get to know the many wonderful students and parents who make up the West Branch Elementary School community. I am looking forward to getting to know more of you through events at school, such as parent meetings, PTO, band concerts, and other activities as well.

For those of you visiting our web site who live outside the district, let me introduce you to West Branch Elementary School. We are a rural school district about 30 miles west of State College, Pennsylvania. We have approximately 600 students in grades Kindergarten through sixth grade. This year was our first year with full day Kindergarten, and we are excited about the changes this has brought to our school. We have an outstanding staff of teachers, aides, and support staff who are very dedicated to the students.

One strength of our school is the many parents who volunteer their time to help out the staff and students. Their help has been a vital part of making our staff and students successful. I would like to thank all of the parents and volunteers who work with our students and staff to make our school a real community. Your time is greatly appreciated!
